Ignorance is nature's most abundantfuel for decision-making. Facts stifle the will, hobble conviction. It is impossible to arrive at a conclusion burdened by information. That explains why the most confident and willing judge is ignorance, why stupidity is the executioner - and why the press and the politicians pimp for both.
I find it disheartening that Cheney finds offense when newspapers print a story where in lies the truth. Cheney darlin' them terrorists ain't stupid - that you "might" be tracking their finances falls into the "DUH!" category. Too bad he wasn't offended by hunting (and shooting his friend in the face), and by cussing on television...
