A time for transition

We celebrate the balance of The Autumnal Equinox - Equal hours of light and darkness

For all that is bad, there is good.
For that which is despair, there is hope.
For the moments of pain, there are moments of love.
For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.
May we find balance in our lives

Nice words, and a nice thought. I however have been in a sour mood lately, and I have come to find some solace in the feeling that the world is a very very broken place, imperfect and never in balance but for a moment, the same as when a ball throw in the air hover for an instant at the peak of its arch. Further, we deceive ourselves if we think we can even begin to address this, or even fathom it.

But, as I said, I am in a pretty foul mood lately. Oh, and I appreciated your employment well-wishes a lot, Narienne, and I thought you might like an update. I haven't had any success in any form other than forward motion. But, in the kingdom of hope, there is no winter...

Pat - you are welcome.

Rich - sorry for the sour mood. Balance is a relative thing. Unfortuantely we (both ourselves personally, and the world we live in) are rarely in balance for long, nor are all aspects of our lives at the same time. Hang in there!
